Register as an employer

When you hire for the first time, you must register as an employer with the Swedish Tax Agency. The easiest way to do this is via the service here at verksamt.se.

Then you report monthly your information on paid wages and benefits, deducted income tax and employer contributions for your employees to the Swedish Tax Agency. You report the data in an employer declaration.
