Aa sole trader, or limited partnership with at least one physical partner, who have suffered reduced sales due to the coronavirus pandemic, you can apply for turnover support.

Below is some brief information about the turnover support. For further information on what is required to apply for the support, please contact the County Administrative Board. They are responsible for processing, decision making, and questions about the turnover support.

Turnover support for sole traders

When and where can I apply?

The last day to apply for turnover support for sole traders is April 30, 2021 for all three support periods below.

You apply using the e-service at the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning's website

The support for sole traders is divided into three periods

  • For August – October 2020, the support is 75 percent of what you lost in net sales compared to the same period in 2019.
  • For November – December 2020 and January – February 2021, the support is 90 percent of what you lost in net sales compared to the same period in 2019.
  • Each company can receive a maximum of SEK 168,000 in support.

What is needed to qualify for the support?

  • For August-October 2020: Should you, among other things, have had a turnover of at least SEK 200,000 throughout 2019.
  • For November – December 2020 and January – February 2021: You must have had a turnover of at least SEK 180,000 for the whole of 2019.

Turnover support for partnerships and limited partnerships

The support is aimed at companies that have at least one natural person registered as a partner on the 28th of February, 2021, and which have suffered a major loss of turnover as a result of the ongoing pandemic.

When and where can I apply?

The last day to apply for turnover support for partnerships and limited partnerships is June 15, 2021 for all six periods below.

You apply using the e-service at the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning's website.

The turnover support for partnerships and limited partnerships is divided into six periods

  • For the support periods March-April, June-July, and August-October 2020, the support is 75 percent of what you lost in net sales compared with the same period in 2019.
  • For the support periods November-December 2020 and January-February 2021, the support is 90 percent of what you lost in net sales compared to the same period in 2019.
  • There is a maximum ceiling for the support.

What is needed to qualify for the support?

  • To qualify for the support period March – October 2020: the company must have a turnover of at least SEK 200,000 x the number of shareholders throughout 2019
  • To qualify for the support period November – December 2020, and January– February 2021: the company must have a turnover of at least SEK 180,000 x the number of shareholders for the whole of 2019

Proposed extension March - June 2021

The Government has proposed that the turnover support for sole traders and Partnerships should be extended to include loss of turnover during March to June 2021. More information will come when the decision is made. It is not currently possible to apply for support for the periods March and April 2021.
