This is how the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth calculate the support for short-time work allowance

The amount of support is calculated based on the information you have submitted to the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth each month. The calculations are based on decisions from the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth and are a combination of provisionally paid support, reconciliations, and any revoked support.

The calculation is made as follows:

  • Ordinary monthly salary (max SEK 44 000 per month) x part of the month x agreed level x attendance quota x 98,6%
  • Part of the month = days with short-time work allowance /days in the month
  • Attendance quota = days with short-time work allowance – days absent / days with short-time work allowance
