Extended time for financial support when you start up a new business
The support for starting a business has been extended from 6 months to 12 months to make it easier for you who are starting a new business. The extension is temporary and applies until 31 December 2021.

To make it easier for companies that have had difficult to declare taxes due to the coronavirus the Swedish Tax Agency allows that a CEO of a limited company is authorized to sign the company's income tax return and also to appoint a declaration representative for the company.

Shareholders' meetings
Due to the risk of being infected by the coronavirus, the Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket) receive many questions about holding shareholders' meetings and general meetings of associations during these times.

In April 2020, the Riksdag passed a new temporary law to facilitate the holding of corporate and association meetings during the ongoing virus outbreak.The new law applies until 31 December 2021.

The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (Myndigheten för samhällsskydd och beredskap, MSB) have developed an aid for government agencies and companies to help them identify which activities must be maintained and which are of a lower priority.
