Although there is plenty of support available for setting up a business in Sweden, there is much to be gained from planning your start-up.
You will probably have a good idea of what you want to do in your business and how this will be achieved. Even so, it is still worth formulating a business plan describing how you intend to implement your business concept. This will ensure that you have clear goals, and that you can convincingly attract the interest of other parties such as customers, financiers and suppliers.

Content of the business plan
The business plan should be easy to understand. Although it has to be factual and serious, it must also attract interest. It may vary in detail depending on the nature of the business. The business plan will normally include information about
- the owner of the company
- experience and skills
- business concept
- product or service, with pricing
- market and customers
- marketing strategy
- resource requirements
- risks and opportunities
- budgets, cash flow and profit forecasts
- timetable and action plan.
