New regulations for restaurants, cafes and barsThe page was last modified:
If you run a serving business, for example a restaurant, a cafe or a bar, new regulations from the Public Health Agency (Folkhälsomyndigheten) will help to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. With the new regulations you can continue to run your business and receive guests as safely as possible.
- Congestion in the premises should be avoided and visitors must be able to keep at a distance from each other. For example, long queues or crowds at tables and bar counters must not exist.
- The tables should be spread out to bring down the number of visitors in the room.
- No standing guests should be allowed, everyone must have a seat. Serving to standing guests at the bar counter is not allowed.
- Only table service or take away is allowed.
